Operations Executives – LSMGO and Solid Sulphur
A leading South Korean oil refining company based in Singapore, specializing in the bunkering business with a focus on Gasoil. As an Operations Executive, you'll play a pivotal role in their dynamic team, contributing to their success and growth in the energy sector. Known for delivering high-quality fuel and exceptional service, they are a key player in the Singapore and APAC markets.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and inventory management, ensuring timely updates on operational issues.
- Communicate and follow up with buyers regarding documentation, receiving instructions, and nominations.
- Draft and review sales contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with terminals for efficient cargo discharging and storage planning.
- Collaborate with surveyors to resolve quantity and quality disputes effectively.
- Work closely with the finance team on credit and invoicing matters.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong working knowledge within bunkering.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in operations management, ideally in the oil and gas sector.
- Thorough grasp of logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
- Ability to excel under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities concurrently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in international trade and familiarity with customs regulations.
- Knowledge of specialized software/tools used in operations management within the industry.
- Certification in supply chain management or related disciplines.
