Our client is a well-known retail chain with presence in more than 20 countries. Currently, the team is looking for an Accounting Manager to join the team. This role will lead a small team and reports to General Manager.
Responsibilities:
Ensure timely management reporting
Prepare detailed expense breakdowns with accompanying commentaries for management review.
Oversee the costing breakdown for the warehouse and ensure accuracy.
Review and verify wholesales invoices and check GTO reports.
Perform payment checks to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Monitor and report on actual cash flow versus forecasted cash flow.
Conduct inventory costing checks to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Verify AP invoices and ensure timely processing.
Perform stock take adjustments based on inventory counts.
Ensure timely submission of GST and Corporate Income Tax
Perform check on slow-moving stocks and prepare findings report.
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting/Commerce/Business or Chartered Accountant
At least 8-10 years working experience in relevant capacity
Experience in product costing is a must
Candidates comes from retail industry highly preferred
Willing to work at West region
Excellent communication skill and stakeholder management
