Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience:
- Proven experience managing multiple Windows servers
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT operations and maintenance
- Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of on-prem server management, including VMware
- Ability to independently develop system design and procedure manuals
- Familiarity with managing cloud servers
- Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills (up to L3 - technicians try to find the root cause, using product logs, designs, or specifications. Once the root cause is identified, the fixes to the issues are documented by them)
- Ability to escalate issues promptly and collaborate with the team leader for proactive improvement
- Experience with workarounds and root cause analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain internal systems and developed bank customer servers
- Develop and maintain operational documentation
- Perform general operations tasks like access log reporting and patching
- Coordinate with vendors and manage contracts (software licenses, hardware maintenance)
- Handle user inquiries and maintain positive communication within the team
