JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and review electrical design work, ensuring adherence to specifications, safety, and technical standards.
- Oversee projects from FEED through to design, testing, and handover.
- Assess and liaise on client and third-party design requirements.
- Integrate design elements with other disciplines in the project team.
- Apply digital design methodologies and lead multidisciplinary design efforts.
- Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications and control philosophies.
- Design instrumentation, PLC, and SCADA systems, including motor control and fieldbus networks.
- Produce cost-effective design layouts and ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations.
- Provide estimates for proposals and support departmental procedures and development.
- Address and resolve technical issues on-site as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Around 5 years of experience in instrumentation, control, and automation design, preferably with contractor experience.
- Experience with water and sewage treatment projects is essential.
- Strong ability to design cost-effective solutions and present technical proposals.
- Independent, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
