One of our Japanese clients, who's specialized with manufacturing construction equipment and materials is looking for Senior Structural Engineer who can support the Engineering team in order to obtain approval for the products from respect government agency to start selling their products in Singapore market.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible with followings,
- Lead and deliver research, simulation and actualization for modular building
- Communicating with various departments internally and local authorities to ensure compliance with regulations
- Providing technical advice and guidance to the Engineering team

Head Count: 8 (No. of member at Engineering Team is 2, both are 20s who joined since graduation of university)
Report line: Japanese Branch Manager (Singaporean Deputy Branch Manager will be taking over from Jan 2025)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
● Bachelor’s Degree over above in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related fields
● Relevant experience in building projects - More than 5 years
● Has strong interest in becoming a Registered Professional Engineer
● Obtains skill of Project management, AutoCAD, MATLAB, Solidworks, ANSYS or other relevant software
● Comprehensive understanding of structural engineering principles, practices, and regulations
● Able to go for overseas business trip
Requirements listed below are better to have,
● Intermediate level of Japanese in order to communicate with internal stakeholders who are working in Japan HQ (Especially with R&D team)
OTHER INFORMATIONS
Working days: Monday - Friday with work from home arrangement (Every Friday will be WFH)
Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Salary Range: 7,000 - 10,000SGD + AWS + VB
Annual Leave: 14 days annual leave (there will be yearly AL increments)

Panel coverage at GP, dental, TCM and specialist clinics
Training in Japan & sponsored training courses in Singapore if it's required
Interviews: 2 rounds (PICs from Japan HQ will be attending during Final interview but translator will be assigned)
