As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets, expand existing customer relationships, and achieve sales targets.
- Conduct site visits and plant audits to identify customer needs, propose solutions, and provide technical expertise.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers (40%) while hunting for new business opportunities (60%).
- Present technical solutions, products, and services to customers, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantage.
- Attend trade shows, seminars, and industry events to promote products, network, and stay updated on industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, resolve technical issues, and provide feedback on market trends and customer needs.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical sales.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical-based products like explosion safety will be advantageous.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and servicing existing customers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, with a strong focus on results.
