Our client is a leading IT consulting company in Japan, which support clients’ transformation of management, business, and IT. Their Singapore Office launched in 2020 to expand our IT consultation service in APAC.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
■ Outline
You will be leading an IT consultation project to client in APAC. You will be involved in the actual project. The biggest mission of this position is to get the trust of the client through consulting and establish its position as a strategic partner of management and IT.
■Detail
The initial mission of this position is to drive a cross-border IT system integration project for Japanese retail company in Taiwan as a lead PMO. You are required to actively lead the client and vendor team from the plan or implementation phase and strongly support the client to enhance IT systems. After the completion of this project, you will be engaging in another project as a lead PMO.
As a lead PMO, you would be responsible for:
- Tracking the progress of project timeline and deliverables
- Issue tracking and follow ups from relevance and dependency of multiple projects
- Proactively detect project risks and consider countermeasure and workarounds
- Analysis of factors and advice for smoother settlements
- Document review and qualification of multiple project aspects including budget, test management and design.
- Reporting project progress and milestones to stakeholders including managements
- Meeting arrangement and facilitation (including taking minutes)
- Managing communications between the project member, users, and the vendor team
- Working in client office in Taiwan during project
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience in Project Management
Effective communication skills to effectively influence both internal and external stakeholders
Experience in Microsoft tools like PowerPoint and Excel
Capability to challenge in small organization and project
High level English (Above average business level English. Including experience in negotiation)
Language skills for frequently reading/writing in Japanese for liaising with Japanese clients.
