JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Operation Enhancement Specialist-you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Our manufactory overall workflow involves receiving required forecasts from customers, ordering necessary materials from suppliers, shipping the procured materials to partner factories, and delivering the assembled boards to customers.
There are many areas for improvement in the above process, so you will work with staff utilizing IT tools and negotiate with multiple sections to make improvements with systemization. Hands-on tasks may include checking warehouse operations, verifying Excel and core system input methods, etc.
Future career paths include promotion to manager of a newly established IT improvement specialist section, rotation to other sections if interested in practical work, and opportunities for head office recruitment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Business-level English and Japanese proficiency to communicate within the company and vendors.
Skills to respect and communicate smoothly with local staff in the Philippines, respecting local culture and customs
Excel skills (able to use functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot; query skills are a plus)
Programming skills (able to use VBA macros, even if simple)
Experience in business improvement using queries and VBA, etc.
