Our client, Leading energy production company is looking for a Operation Executive/Assistant.
Office Location: CBD area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage vessel operations (CFR/DAP/FOB), including vetting, loading/discharging instructions, inspections, demurrage management, cargo insurance, and troubleshooting.
Communicate with oil terminals, including urgent responses.
Coordinate with buyers, sellers, charterers, shipping brokers, terminal operators, joint venture partners, and internal teams to meet contractual obligations.
Work with the finance team to ensure smooth invoicing and payment processes for cargoes, freight, and operational expenses.
Ensure smooth operations, avoid supply disruptions, and minimize demurrage costs by liaising with relevant stakeholders.
Submit demurrage claims within the time-bar and negotiate with counterparties to resolve outstanding claims promptly.
Conduct lifting operations in accordance with relevant agreements.
Provide support during nighttime for troubleshooting and communication with different time zones when it is necessary.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Commerce, Law, or a related field. Preference given to Maritime Studies majors.
For Operation Assistant: Fresh graduates are welcome.
For Operation Executive: At least 3 years of relevant experience in oil/gas trading company handling vessel operations and coordination.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong communication skills.
Hardworking, meticulous, and strong with numbers.

Experience in Tanker or VLGC operation is a must
Knowledge in Maritime law is a must
Knowledge in Upstream contract is a must
Experience in Tanker or VLGC Chartering is an added advantage
Business level Japanese language skills is a plus but not required
Experience working for a Japanese company is a plus
Monthly basic salary : S$3,500~4,500 with AWS and Variable Bonus
WFH: Max 2days a week
