Our client, a E-Commerce start-up in Singapore is currently looking to hire a Senior Manager, Strategies Management/Business Development to join the Company.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the business analysis, development of the future growth strategy, planning and implementation of new Business Development initiatives to expand the customer segments beyond the regular tactical sales and marketing initiatives
- Involve forging of new collaborations amongst existing businesses within the Company and its subsidiaries or incepting new businesses from scratch. Depending on the business initiatives
- Whilst the strategic planning and incubation of the business idea is largely independently led by yourself, as project moves into implementation, you will be supported by and equally play leadership to a multi-disciplinary team on the execution
- Support the Department Head in developing the mid-term (3-5-Year) strategic growth plan, end-to-end business planning, market intelligence gathering, annual Budgeting and workplan preparation, and monthly business performance review and management
- Directed and nurture a team to grow platform's top line
- Oversaw sales growth and strategise categories' growth in sales and assortment
- Worked closely with various teams to achieve the best results, in terms of sales, driving traffic, branding and marketing, for sellers
- Worked with both local and 3rd party enablers and brands
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the eCommerce space
- An entrepreneurial mind and experience in working in both start-ups and enterprise
- Strong acumen in sniffing out / creating new business opportunities
- Fluency in stakeholder management and business case analysis, strategy preparation and presentation to senior management.
- At least 10 - 15 years of mixed experience in Strategic Planning, Business Development & eCommerce.
- P&L Management Experience is a must.
- Very strong commercial and relationship management abilities.
