About the Project Engineer Role:
This position assists the Project Manager in daily project execution and other project scopes ranging from technical support to commercial bid. This role also required to oversee projects relating to innovation and sustainability aspects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status - Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance to safety regulations and engineering design by regular site checks and supervising field works
- Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions
- Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.

To succeed in the Project Engineer job, you will need to be hands-on and possess the ability to work effectively with senior business team leaders.
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
5 years of work experience in project management experience within the O&G or chemical industry - The ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Excellent project management and supervision skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices
- Global perspective, with a sensitivity to multiple and diverse cultures
