Our Client:
Global company focusing on telecommunications, automotive, energy, and medical sectors. It produces essential products like optical fibers, power cables, and wiring harnesses, supporting high-speed communication, energy transmission, and modern vehicle systems. The company also manufactures medical devices and diagnostic equipment, contributing to healthcare advancements.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the seamless operation of day-to-day activities within our group companies, this is a regional role that covers Singapore, other Southeast Asia countries and greater China region
Support the implementation of initiatives that align with headquarters' strategic direction.
Uphold IT governance and ensure compliance with IT policies.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications, software, and network systems.
Plan, design, and implement application systems and IT infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role or organization.
- Chinese-speaker to support end users in other Asia region including China, Hong Kong and Taiwan
- Knowledge of WAN, LAN, and wireless networking.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues with applications, software, and hardware.
- Familiarity with general operating systems, office software, and applications.
- Understanding of database and network security systems.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware systems.
- Good understanding of electronic information security.
- Experience with J-SOX or a similar framework is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A team player with the ability to work independently.
