Our client is in the business of global trading and investment with presence in more than 10 countries. As part of the business expansion, the team is looking for a full-time Project Finance Manager to join the team. This role will assist the General Manager to improve and standardize internal processes to achieve better business efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities:
Understand the current business processes, practices and standards
Identify issues on existing processes for areas such as payment, letter of credit, foreign exchange operations, daily cash management and reporting methodology
Work closely with the General Manager to investigate root causes and draft new processes to standardize the processes across the APAC regions.
Collaborate with the internal stakeholders from trade finance team and propose advanced trade finance scheme that helps with operational efficiency.
Act as an advisor to trade finance/treasury team when issues aris
Requirement:
Degree in Business/Commerce/Accounting or Qualified Accountant
At least 10-year working experience in trade finance / treasury space
Experience in business operational improvement, system and process enhancement / process standardizationis a must for this role
Knowledge in SAP HANA preferred
Excellent communication skills and strategic thinking
Overseas travelling is required for this role (1-2 times per quarter)
