Company and Job Overview

A leading HVAC company is looking for an experienced sales engineer to provide quality service to data centre customers.

Responsibilities

Manage and develope relationships within enterprise accounts, and the ecosystem players. 

To ensure success as Account Manager, he/she should be adaptive at market research and skilled in forming long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with enterprise account clients, for long term sales success in the company.

Identify and develop new business opportunities in Singapore and Malaysia.

Create and develop advisor relationships with key accounts customer stakeholders and executive sponsors for our business.

Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters. 

Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers, including financial institutions, telcos, government agencies, and large corporations.

Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits for the company. 

Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and customer segments to expand the company's market presence.

Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. monthly sales forecasts and annual sales forecasts).

Initiative-taking in anticipating client challenging requests and issue escalations as appropriate.

Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.

Willing to travel up to 50% across Singapore and Malaysia for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum 2 years and preferably 5 years of experience in sales roles within the technology, mechanical and engineering or data center industry. 

Strong understanding of data center technologies, products, and solutions.

Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales plans that drive revenue growth. 

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and people skills. 

Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. 

A self-driven approach.
