OVERVIEW
Our client, a Japanese PE fund, is looking for an associate/senior associate for their investment team in Singapore.
You will be responsible for supporting investment operations at a Japanese investment fund based in Singapore and Tokyo. The work location will be either our Tokyo office or Singapore office. Even if you are based in Tokyo, frequent business trips to Singapore and other locations (with the possibility of future relocation if desired) are expected.
Responsibilities
Supporting all aspects of private equity investment operations
Sourcing and evaluating investment targets
Supporting due diligence and contract execution
Supporting the execution of investments
Handling reporting and other tasks related to fund management
Business development by connecting Asian investee companies with potential Japanese partner companies
Requirements
More than 3 years of related experience (such as Investment Banking, Consulting, or M&A)
Individuals interested in investing in emerging and small to medium-sized enterprises in Asia.
Professional working proficiency in both English and Japanese in order to liaise with stakeholders.
