About the Business Development Manager Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead the identification and development of new business opportunities in Asia. This role is pivotal in driving our company's growth and expansion within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes in the Asian market (Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam)
Leverage deep understanding of the company's capabilities to identify potential business opportunities that align with market demands
Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to penetrate new markets and acquire customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers. Identify key decision-makers and develop effective sales strategies to convert leads into customers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative products and solutions that address customer needs and create new revenue streams
Achieve sales targets and revenue growth objectives within the assigned region
Work closely with the headquarters' CEO and other departments to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
To thrive as a Business Development Manager requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship building, and sales acumen
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Applied Chemistry
Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, marketing, or sales within the materials manufacturing industry
Proven track record in new market development and customer acquisition in Asia
Strong understanding of the Asian market dynamics and business culture
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Proactive, results-oriented, and self-motivated.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Your proven business development experience, coupled with a strong attention to detail and self-initiative, positions you well to enhance your business development expertise in this role.
