Logistic Project & Process Engineer
A leading multinational equipment manufacturer is looking for a highly experience and passionate Logistics Project & Process Engineer to be part of their high performing team here in Singapore. This is a newly created role as part of the business expansion.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Director of Logistics, your main responsibility is to plan and manages all logistics related projects across the APAC region, collaborating closely with stakeholders from various department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, define, develop, and implement new processes for distribution logistics and support new distribution models.
- Manage, coordinate, and collaborate on innovation and life cycle projects in logistics, creating specific logistics concepts for the entire supply chain.
- Optimize logistics for product and transport packaging.
- Support the global logistics organization and its stakeholders (e.g., product management, IT) by providing tools and resources for customizing processes and preparing workstations.
To succeed in this role, you must have experience in extensive experience and a subject matter expert in process improvement and project management including product transfer.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Logistics or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process and project management role
- Strong in SCM-Module (ERP-System) and Project-Management-Tools; Technophile on Computer Hardware Setups, SAP (SD/MM/WM/PP), Production Steering (Assembly Information System - AIS) and Warehousing is an added advantage
- Independent, target-oriented and willing to travel
